THE COMPANY
The business is a leading retailer owning some of the UK's biggest brands and stores and they continuing to grow out their portfolio with the addition of new businesses moving forward. With this period of growth the business are now looking to enhance their analytics capabilities with the addition of a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst.
Joining the business as a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, you'll be leading and setting up the company's marketing analytics and measurement capabilities.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources to assess the performance of digital marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise digital marketing strategies based on data-driven recommendations
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the impact of different marketing tactics on key metrics
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Marketing/Campaign/Digital Analyst or similar role, with a strong emphasis on using SQL for data analysis
- Expertise in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, including setting up custom reports, dashboards, and advanced segments
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, ROAS, LTV)

About the Role

The individual in this role will ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance framework, which covers data policies, standards, and practices, in order to achieve the necessary levels of consistency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
