RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the growth of Data Scientists and ML Engineers
- Manage everything from exploring data to deploying ML models
- Assist clients in understanding their data and how our platform can help, through pilot projects
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to put ML models into action
- Lead team meetings and workshops with clients
- Establish software engineering standards within the ML team and support other areas
- Switch between client projects and developing our internal products for your own professional growth
REQUIREMENTS:
- Skilled at interpreting ML model insights, creating transparent ML models, and not relying solely on complex algorithms
- Dedicated to producing well-documented, clean code in Python and/or Scala (including Spark)
- Enthusiastic about exploring data (in BigQuery/Jupyter notebooks/SQL) and constructing models, as well as establishing data/ML pipelines
- Adaptable to changing priorities in a work environment
- Proficient in using SQL for quick insights from databases
- Competent in deploying data and code to cloud platforms like GCP/AWS
- Familiar with collaborative coding best practices using tools like Git, CI/CD
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in data science/ML

The Role
What you will do as a Credit Risk Modeller:
- Developing and implementing credit risk models (PD, LGD, and EAD models)
- Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights to drive model development
- Developing models working with other functions to meet regulatory requirements (IFRS9, IRB and Basel)
- Communicating and presenting analysis and insights to senior stakeholders

Requirements:
