Job Summary:

Working closely with the Head of Data Governance, you'll lead efforts to innovate our data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Data Governance Frameworks: Collaborate with the Head of Data Governance to create and implement robust data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to the organization's needs.

  2. Metadata Management: Oversee metadata management processes, enhancing metadata quality, accuracy, and accessibility to enable informed decision-making.

  3. Data CRUD Processes: Lead efforts to standardize data CRUD processes, establishing controls and workflows to manage data lifecycle activities effectively.

  4. Master and Reference Data Management: Drive initiatives related to master and reference data management, collaborating with business units to define critical data entities.

  5. Data Quality Assurance: Develop and implement data quality assurance programs to monitor, measure, and improve data quality across the organization.

  6. Data Profiling: Utilize data profiling techniques to analyze data quality and integrity, providing valuable insights for decision-making and remediation efforts.

  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide guidance on data governance matters.

  8. Requirements Collection: Collect and prioritize pain points related to data governance to drive strategic objectives.

  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and compliance officers to implement data governance solutions effectively.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and data quality within a corporate environment.

  • Deep understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices, preferably DAMA knowledge.

  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and drive results through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in a Federated data governance operating model preferred.

  • Familiarity with data profiling tools beneficial.
