THE COMPANY:
This is a well-known high street financial services business. They are keen to make the most of the gap in the market for Point of Sale Finance an lending offerings, so they foresee this project becoming a very successful business area for them. You'd have the freedom to lead this project and plan the strategy going forwards that ultimately influences the business and end customers.
WHAT WILL YOU GET TO DO?
In this role, you will get to work on:
- Leading the pricing strategy for the Point of Sale Finance offerings, be this 'buy now, pay later' or pay in instalments/lending offerings
- Work with financial models and data analytics teams to understand the impact of specific prices and how this will impact customers
- Balance the P&L in terms of managing the numbers and commercial impacts
- Make recommendations to external partners and internal stakeholders on what price points and rates should be recommended
- Working directly with senior stakeholders across different business areas to bring the product together and grow capabilities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Previous experience across pricing strategy management, specifically from financial services and banking
- Previously worked on POS Finance as a product, be this 'Buy Now, Pay Later', lending strategies for paying in installments, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work with financial models and balance risk vs. reward

- Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office. Their HQ is in Birmingham, but they have hubs in Leeds and Chester too
