THE ROLE

As a Model Validation Manager you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Reviewing documentation describing model development and validation, assessing its validity
  • Replicating model developments
  • Analysing model performance and constricting challenger models
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and people within your team
  • Validating IRB, IFRS9 and stress testing models
  • Manage a team of 5-10 people

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Financial crime and Transactions Screening Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working on model validation or development
  • Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical stakeholders
  • An understanding of data analytics eg. SAS, SQL, python, and R
  • Experience working in Financial Services
  • Exposure to regulatory systems such as IRB and IFRS9
