A great opportunity for an individual with experience in credit risk, statistical modelling, and scorecards to join a top UK bank as a Lead Quant Analyst.

THE COMPANY

The business is one of the UK's top banks and they are looking to hire a Lead Quant Analyst to help build out their credit scoring capabilities. Credit Scoring is used extensively across the business to manage risk decision made by the business.

And in this role, you will be joining the Decision Science team you will play a key part in this by helping to develop and manage risk scorecards. You will also use your mathematical and technical experience to provide quantitative analysis - supporting management and other teams across the business, You will also have the opportunity to manage model development projects, from inception through to delivery.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading projects to develop risk models
  • Managing and developing team members
  • Understanding business requirements, ensuring that the models and model management deliver in this area
  • Providing clear documentation of model development to support model implementation
  • Ensuring outputs fall in line with model regulations

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of building/developing statistical models and scorecards
  • Expertise using SAS programming
  • Experience working in a credit risk environment
