This is a high-impact leadership role, where you will spearhead initiatives in credit risk strategy, model development, portfolio analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, providing mentorship and support to enhance team members' skills and career growth.
- Design and implement credit frameworks and responsible lending strategies that align with business growth goals and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the creation, deployment, and maintenance of advanced credit risk models, integrating traditional approaches with machine learning to improve underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.
- Monitor portfolio performance to identify risks and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to refine credit policies and optimize customer experiences.
- Offer thought leadership on innovations in credit risk assessment, emerging industry trends, and new data sources, highlighting opportunities for data-driven growth and potential risks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 10 years of experience in credit risk modeling, decision science, analytics, and risk forecasting within financial services, ideally within consumer lending.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and mentoring teams, with a history of delivering impactful initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement compliant and innovative credit risk models and lending strategies, including frameworks for responsible lending and underwriting automation.
- SQL, Python, R experience
