THE ROLE
- Managing and owning credit risk models, using ML techniques to enhance development and effectiveness
- Leading the design and implementation of credit risk strategies, including responsible lending frameworks and portfolio analytics
- Managing a team of 10 people and reporting into the Chief Risk Officer
- Providing strategic foresight and thought leadership on advances in credit risk assessments, new industry trends, and risks and opportunities for data-driven growth
- Working with a range of teams across the business to ensure robust risk management, including marketing, pricing, operations, and engineering
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1ST Line credit risk experience is required
- Unsecured consumer lending experience is required - ideally with a fintech
- Proficiency in SQL is required - Python is desirable
- Experience owning a credit risk function
- Experience developing decision models (scorecards)
