The Company:

A fast-paced fintech scale-up offering unique and innovative B2C and B2B2C solutions across consumer lending. Quickly becoming a household name and recognisable consumer brand, our client uses technology to make life easier for both customers and the partners it works with.

This is a high-potential business solving a nine trillion pound problem within the payments space!

The Role:

This is an individual contributor with the potential for leadership in 12 months. The role-holder will use a data science skillset to solve a wide range of problems within the credit risk space credit decision space from setting acquisition strategy to building ML scorecards.

This role requires the marriage of technical data science skills with a strong commercial acumen and the ability to apply those skills to solve a variety of complex business problems related to credit decisioning. This could involve designing solutions across open banking, affordability, income verification, machine learning application scorecards, fraud machine learning models and much more.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a consumer credit or lending environment
  • Experience using credit bureau data to solve problems
  • We are looking for a technical Data Scientist with strong Python skills
  • Experience using data to solve problems or drive strategy within a lending business
  • We need a problem solver with strong commercial acumen
