THE COMPANY
This company is heavily driven by Data and Analytics and is looking for a Credit Risk Consultant who will be able to identify and develop innovative solutions for a wide range of clientele. There is huge scope for growth in this role as you will participate in large-scale projects across multiple business verticals and model types. The flat structure of the company means that no one is in the way of undertaking additional responsibility and promotions if you are trying to climb the corporate ladder.
THE ROLE
This position would be part of the wider risk team. Within this role, you would be:
- Taking responsibility and ownership for the building and validation of a wide range of models across the entire spectrum.
- Your role would also include work on decision scorecards, PD Models, LGD Models, and EAD Models.
- Challenging assumptions on these models and undertaking quantitative analysis on these.
- Presenting findings from these models to management and clients.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A strong knowledge of SAS or Python, ideally both.
- Previous IRB or IFRS9 modeling experience in a consumer lending environment.
- Knowledge of various statistical modeling techniques and strong data analysis skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a strong numerate degree.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- From £50,000 up to £70,000pa base salary.
