This company is a successful UK bank who are continuing to grow. As a specialist lender, this bank has a clear focus and mission and are seeking an experienced candidate to join the team. This role is a really exciting opportunity to work on a new area of the bank within an increasingly relevant area of risk, across the entire business.
THE ROLE
Within this role, you would be working on:
- Developing frameworks to monitor and manage climate risk
- Owning the climate risk and broader ESG across the business to define strategy and monitor processes
- Working across their lending books to analyse factors such as lending policies, limits etc to mitigate risk in the climate and wider risk space
- Broader work with teams across the bank including credit, liquidity and funding
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Background in the credit risk and lending space is essential
- Prior experience with climate risk and ESG is desirably, specifically with relation to banking regulations
- Prior experience in broader risk methodology and second line risk mitigation is essential
- Educated to at least degree level, in a numerate discipline
