Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: UK

Salary: £80,000

Are you passionate about revolutionising the financial services industry? Do you want to work for a technology-led organisation that values user-friendly, smart, and cost-effective investment platforms?

About the Company:

My client is a FinTech organisation whose mission is to help people get comfortable with their finances by building simple, convenient, and delightful financial experiences centred on the individual. Their vision is to bring a tech revolution to the financial services industry, and they are achieving this by offering workplace savings products and pensions to customers directly or through employee benefit programs at some of the largest corporates in the UK.

About the Role:

As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to understand and refine management information/operational reporting needs and deliver them through analysis and dashboards. You will also design and document our core data model, implement it through efficient and performant ETL workflows that deliver clean, high-quality data into our data lake, and build intuitive and responsive dashboards that tell insightful stories about the data.

Key Requirements:

Critical skills/experience required for this role include the ability to translate complex dashboard/analysis requirements into smaller, more manageable tasks, experience in designing and documenting complex data models/schemas, building ETL workflows using AWS Glue or equivalent tools/data warehouse products, and ability to write efficient and readable SQL code to manipulate data and perform calculations. You should also have experience in Power BI (or an equivalent product e.g. Tableau), working with large cross-functional teams in an agile environment managed through JIRA or equivalent tools, and commercial experience in finance or a related field.

In addition to the above, it would be desirable if you have an understanding of pension and savings products, experience with AWS QuickSight, embedded analytics, working with large datasets in Python and relevant libraries including Pandas, Matplotlib, seaborn etc.

Salary & Benefits:

A successful candidate will receive:

  • A competitive salary of up to £80,000
  • Hybrid working is also offered with the role.

If you are interested in this role and have the required skills and experience, please submit your application via this link or reach out to me directly
