Are you a skilled Business Development Manager looking for your next opportunity in the ResTech or SaaS space? We're working with a leading research technology provider that partners with major retailers, media companies, food producers, and utilities to deliver impactful insights at every stage of the customer journey.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring renewals, upsells, and revenue growth.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities, aligning solutions with client needs.
  • Lead account review meetings, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Work closely with Product, Research, and IT teams to enhance platform features and improve user experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by attending conferences, networking events, and industry seminars.
  • Play a key role in new business development, converting warm leads into long-term partnerships.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in client development, account management, or sales within ResTech, SaaS, or the insights industry.
  • Strong understanding of research software, audience businesses, and subscription/renewal models.
  • Hunter style business development experience.
  • A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in new business development, from initial engagement through to closing deals and expanding client accounts.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive for delivering results and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using research software and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms.
