THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
They are seeking an experienced Associate Director specialised in Business Intelligence to bring their deep understanding of data analytics and stakeholder management of client relations skills to the leadership of the BI team
In this role you will be:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business challenges and delivering tailored solutions that produce results
- Oversee multiple consultancy engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations
- Led and mentored project teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the firm's strategic objectives, playing a key role in building out the strategic road map of the business
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
They are looking for an experienced candidate who has proven experience in management and providing advanced analytical solutions
Please apply if you have experience:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years' experience working within Business Intelligence with at least 4 in a leadership role
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful BI solutions and strategies
- Strong proficiency in BI analytics tools and platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, Python)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data insight

About the Role

The individual in this role will ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance framework, which covers data policies, standards, and practices, in order to achieve the necessary levels of consistency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
- Facilitating workshops and meetings across business areas for onboarding, improvement, and raising the profile of data governance.
- Assisting in managing the data quality roadmap.
