THE ROLE
As an AI Engineer for the business, you will:
- Develop multimodal search capabilities to handle diverse data types (text, images, numerical data) commonly found in financial documents and reports.
- Implement and optimize advanced retrieval techniques, including sparse encoders and visual models
- Create robust document parsing solutions to extract and structure information from various financial document formats
- Implement natural language understanding techniques to improve search query interpretation and intent recognition
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with advanced retrieval models such as SPLADE, ColBERT, and other transformer-based architectures for search and ranking.
- Strong background in NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, tokenization, named entity recognition, and multimodal learning approaches.
- Performed text extraction from documents
- Excellent coding skills using Python
- Experience building machine learning models
- Tech: Python, SQL, LLMs, Azure
