THE COMPANY
The business is a leading management consultancy based in London and they specialise in helping businesses to grow in value and invest efficiently. This role specifically sits within their Advanced Analytics function which work with various clients to help utilise and understand the importance of data to leverage positive financial results and growth.
As an Advanced Analytics Consultant, you will help work and lead on advanced analytics projects.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Develop and implement data engineering solutions that optimise data collection, storage, and processing.
- Design and execute analytics strategies that drive informed decision-making and business growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on commercial analytics to enhance client profitability and market positioning.
- Lead project teams and manage client engagements to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
YOUR KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong technical experience in SQL, Python and Data Visualisation
- Proven track record working on and leading analytics projects
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure and data engineering
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in STEM subject

About the Role
This role involves leading and managing data governance activities across the organization, with a focus on improving data quality and managing key information assets. The goal is to enhance the overall data and governance maturity of the company. The individual in this role will ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance framework, which covers data policies, standards, and practices, in order to achieve the necessary levels of consistency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
- Facilitating workshops and meetings across business areas for onboarding, improvement, and raising the profile of data governance.
