A huge name in the insurance sector is looking for a tagging and tracking-focused Digital Analyst to join their 50-strong Analytics team, to focus on the retail arm of the company, whilst providing subject matter expertise to other business units.
THE COMPANY
Operating in over 40 countries worldwide, they are continuing to see the value and invest in their Digital analytics capability. They are currently working on GA4 migrations across their business units and transitioning to server-side Analytics Implementation with Google Tag Manager. They provide industry-leading professional development and server-side Implementation training for this role.
THE ROLE
As a Digital Analytics Consultant, you'll sit within the Digital Analytics team with a direct report to the Digital Analytics Manager. You'll work with Google Tag Manager to implement server-side tagging and tracking solutions across Digital Real estate, focusing on the retail arm primarily, and supporting other business units with their Analytics requirements. Your aim is to ensure that Data Collection is implemented accurately across the sites.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A successful applicant will have the following ability:
- Tagging and tracking with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium (doesn't have to be server-side as upskilling is provided)
- Experience with Google or Adobe Analytics
- JavaScript for creating custom tags, triggers, and variables in a Tag Management System is great to have, but not a dealbreaker

The telecommunications brand have been working with Digital and Data Analytics at the core of the business decisions for a few years, even pre-Covid! Coming out of the pandemic, they have hired a new Head of Digital Analytics with vast expansion plans for the Digital Analytics team. The wider Digital Analytics team would be working cross-functionally with lots of close collaboration with Marketing and Content teams and play a key role within the wider business.
Role
You would be the subject matter expert on Tagging and Tracking for the Data Layer Implementations across the wide variety of Digital Real Estate that the company own. There would be requests coming from the internal Analytics team that you would be working with, but primarily, you would be focused on the initial audit of the tagging, and following this, working on the strategy and roadmap behind Data Layer Implementations.
Skills
- Expertise within Tag Management and Tracking across Websites and Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Commercial Technical experience with Google Tag Manager/Adobe Launch/Tealium
- The ability to write custom Tags in JavaScript
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will get £60,000 – £70,000. Flexible working is also an option.
