THE COMPANY
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest banks in the UK, being a key part of their decision analytics team, and acting as an internal consulting team to the whole of the Bank. You'll work in collaboration with the data science and marketing teams across a variety of greenfield projects that are integral to the business. You'll have a key role in one of the most renowned banks globally, with a number of training initiatives!
THE ROLE
You'll join the advanced analytics centre of excellence, acting as an internal consultancy to the rest of the business using advanced analytics techniques to understand customer behaviours and trends, building predictive models, with Python, that maximises product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with commercial and business partners to drive advanced analytics solutions that optimise and improve current analytical approaches, driving innovation across the Bank.
- Make pricing recommendations through the use of predictive analytics, customer segmentation techniques etc with a focus on PnL and forecasting.
- Use data to drive and build strategies that drive commercial outcomes, using data to tell a story and bring to life your recommendations.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Coding expertise with Python and SQL
- Experience working in a data-driven and data-heavy organisation
- Commercial experience using advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modelling, customer segmentation, cluster analysis etc

THE ROLE
As a Lead Data Scientist in this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms using property data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for data-driven improvement.
