6 Month Contract (20 Hours Per Week)

100 EUR Per Hour

As a Data Engineer you will be creating and maintaining data pipeline architecture for a leading European homewares retailer.

THE COMPANY:

The client is a leading European Homewares Retailer who is one of the largest adopters of AWS Serverless. The client has recently transformed their digital platform using the latest technology and require a Data Engineer to build and maintain highly scalable cloud-based data infrastructure.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Engineer you will be expected to define AWS cloud-based infrastructure as code using CI/CD practices, developing high quality code in python, and designing data solutions that align with the goals of the business. You will be able to adapt to regularly changing business requirements. You should also be comfortable challenging and leading on best practice.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The ideal Data Engineer will have:

  • Commercial experience building and optimising ETL data pipelines
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL
  • Commercial experience in one or more cloud-based warehouse such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
  • Commercial experience working with AWS cloud services in production
