You will be working daily with modern techniques such as Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and Databricks. You will also take on Data Engineering challenges for organizations for commercial clients across the Randstad. The Role:

• You will be working with a team that uses the latest tech solutions to build analytical and Data Engineering environments.
• You will be building and implementing Data Engineer projects regularly, in Python R, and SQL.
• You will be effectively collaborating with colleagues to solve real-life business problems making them actionable.
• You will implement cloud-based technologies such as AZURE/AWS/GCP.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You need to have a MSc or PhD level in Stem subject.
• Strong commercial experience with Python and Visualisation and proficient knowledge of AZURE, Databricks, Data Factory ETL.
• Previous commercial exposure to tools such as AZURE/AWS/GCP.
• You must have proven knowledge in the implementation of Machine Learning, AI, and clustering techniques.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent communication skills and team and colleague engagement.

DATA ENGINEER (CONSULTANT)

A consultancy purely specialised within ML Engineering, Data Engineering and Data Science is seeking to hire a skilled Data Engineer to help its customers build, maintain and scale their data platforms as well as implement software products.

THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will have varied tasks which will include:

• Gathering requirements and collaborating with external stakeholders
• Working on either cloud or on-premises solutions as tech stacks will vary from project to project
• Develop scalable applications and data infrastructure, to allow for real-time streaming and the application of Machine Learning models
• Understanding the business domain, as projects can be found in Transportation, Retail, Finance and more

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be a likely fit for this team, you should meet some of these requirements:

• Be an experienced engineer with a demonstrated history of working on projects touching upon implementing big data infrastructure, applications, ML models or ML platforms
• Be able to communicate and consult with both technical specialists and business-orientated stakeholders
• Know how to code in Scala, Java, Python or similar
• Have experience with Public Clouds, Data Processing Frameworks and databases
• Have a background in AI, Computer Science, Distributed Systems or similar
• Have a passion to learn and work with the latest tooling
• Speak fluent English, proficiency in Dutch is a nice to have

You would be responsible for leading a small team of Data Engineers on a Platform Migration into Azure.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Engineering and deploying reliable and scalable data pipelines
• Contributing to the development of new data products and transition from batch to real-time data processing utilizing Kafka Streaming
• Integrating and transforming various data sets, including image data
• Working with Azure technologies such as DataBricks, Data Factory, Logic Apps, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs
• Gathering requirements and onboarding new data sources for internal stakeholders

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
