THE COMPANY:
This is a local financial services company that has had supporting customers as a core value since they were founded. They had a new CEO join who has pushed the agenda to make the business as data-driven as possible, with the rest of the C-suite now extremely invested in using data to hear the voice of their customers and the analytics team that share key insights with them.
WHAT WILL YOU GET TO DO?
You will be joining the wider customer analytics and CRM function as well as working with the senior manager. You can expect to work on:
- Core customer analytics projects, including churn analysis and segmentation projects
- Marketing analytics projects, working with the CRM team to optimise channels and marketing performance
- Market research to understand the voice of the customer and drivers behind NPS scores
- Data storytelling and sharing recommendations to stakeholders, using data visualisation tools for understandable insights
- Management of 2 analysts in the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
You will need:
- Excellent SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating large volumes of customer data
- Previous experience in a marketing/customer analytics role to hit the ground running
- Experience working across customer segmentation, churn analysis, marketing analytics for acquisition and retention, channel optimisation and marketing performance
- Strong data storytelling skills, able to share insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Data visualisation, preferably Power BI but open to Tableau etc.
- Ideally some experience within market research or understanding of NPS data and customer satisfaction

In this role, you will be joining the Optimisation team as well as reporting to the Technical Lead. You will get to work on:
- Optimising the booking engines on the website specifically for shorter term breaks
- Creating and rolling out the product roadmap for making improvements or rolling out new features and products
- Optimising the website to offer best user experience as well as convert more visitors to guests
- Improving pricing models alongside the Pricing team
- Conducting a/b tests to optimise performance and development of features
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Previous experience across product management, product development, or technical project management
- Previously worked on a website as a product, or be a website wizard!
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Worked on product roadmapping and optimisation
- Tech: preferably used Google Analytics and an a/b testing tool
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Base salary of £45,000

- Remote working from the UK – you can head to the London HQ if you wish, or the usual requirement would be once a quarter

This financial company operates via a network of 30-plus branches with services including savings and, through expert partners, mortgage advice, estate agency, later life planning, and insurance.
They have recently had a new CEO join the company, and a huge focus in recent months has been on developing a new business strategy, they see data being a huge focus of this! Since the new CEO joined there has been a huge focus on their data team and they have never seen such a big demand for insights before.
They’re keen to make sure that every business decision is as data-driven as possible. They have also hired a new director of data strategy who is giving them a lot more buy-in and influence around the business.
Role
In this role they need someone who is a leader and can create a high-performing culture in the team, this role can quickly transition into a senior manager, as Andy takes more of a strategic position.
This role will be looking at:
- Customer behavior, diving into segmentation, churn etc
- Marketing analytics, working closely with CRM managers to ensure we’re optimising marketing performance and channels.
- Data Storytelling will be an important aspect of this role to provide insight into the company.
- You will also work with a 3rd party agency to look at drivers behind customer feedback and optimising CX.
