Are you looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself in a leading retail company that has a strong online presence and also has physical stores? They have an established data & analytics and use a range of interesting tech including SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Looker, and Google Analytics. It doesn't matter if you do not have all of these skills as my client invests heavily in training and development.

THE COMPANY

You will be work for a leading eCommerce fashion business based in central Manchester. The business has a fantastic analytics company so you will receive lots of development and learning opportunities from experienced analysts. They are a customer-centric business that places a huge emphasis on Data so there will be lots of projects that you will get the opportunity to work on.

THE ROLE

  • This role will sit within their customer insight team who work very closely with data science and digital analytics teams to help the business gain a better understanding of their customers
  • Hands-on with data using SQL and scope to perform statistical analysis using SQL and R/Python
  • Working on projects including retention, segmentation, LTV, RFM and will work on more advanced projects such as regression analysis and clustering to predict customer behaviour
  • Building dashboards using Tableau/Looker and presenting key insights back to senior stakeholders from a non-technical background

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2:1 Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field from a leading university
  • Proficient in SQL and R or Python having utilised it in a commercial role previously
  • Experience in a commercial role with a focus on customer insight
  • Using insights and recommendations to help optimise marketing and sales strategy
  • Expert communication skills with the ability to tell a story with data to teams and stakeholders from a non-technical background

Using Data Visualisation To Bring Data & Analytics To Life

The majority of the human population are visual learners. Our brains are wired in such a way where we can register 36,000 visual messages per hour, and visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text. In short, one of the best ways to truly assimilate and understand new-found knowledge is through clear and digestible imagery.  Because of this valuable insight, we are now witnessing the fast-growing trend of Data Visualisation. Over the next six years, the value of Data Visualisation tools is expected to reach $19.2 billion, over double what it was in 2019.  Data & Analytics is one key area where data visualisation is used continuously.
