A great opportunity for Collections Specialist to progress their career to the next level within a leading Financial Services company.
THE COMPANY
This role sits within one of the largest providers of consumer credit in the United Kingdom and a global financial institution. And this position is placed within their wider Customer Underwriting team - which focuses on looking after general BAU strategy across the businesses Credit Cards portfolio's.
The purpose of this role is to lead on the design and optimisation of suitable credit and affordability strategies - with an emphasis on positive customer outcomes. All of this will be done whilst setting the governance and control framework for the wider Customer Underwriting team.
THE ROLE
- Supporting operations and customer analytics by looking at customer data.
- Working with SQL to clean and manipulate the data.
- Analytical support for Fraud strategies
- helping with development within the team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience in SQL
- Python is a nice to have
- Degree in a STEM subject
- Financial services experience
- Experience within Fraud.
- Working on collections.

THE ROLE
As a Decisions Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for making changes to the decision engine, implementing existing strategies as well as new ones. This team has recently partnered with a new tech provider, and you will be a key member of this transition, implementing the latest tool in the market after being trained directly by the provider themselves!
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your credit system expertise (Blaze, Triad, PowerCurve, Provenir) to implement strategic changes within the decision engine.
- Regularly run tests to check the decision system is robust and secure, churning out the correct decisions, hosting the credit decisioning models that the decision science team build.
- Work collaboratively with the credit decisioning team to understand what rules they need in place for the decisions to be made.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Commercial experience using Credit Risk Decision Systems tools: Provenir, PowerCurve/Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, Blaze Advisor or TRIAD
- Knowledge of the Credit Card and Retail Finance.
- Understanding of credit risk
