One of the world's largest media and entertainment businesses are hiring for a BI Analyst to join the team and build out the BI reporting system within the business! This is a super exciting and fun opportunity for someone to join an international business!
THE ROLE
This business have started to see the value that data adds, so they want to bring someone in that can start introducing data and BI capabilities to the company.
- Short-term reporting in MS Excel, and longer-term implementation and reporting of BI into the business
- Requirement gathering (sales, marketing, operations, digital data etc.)
- Reporting in Excel
- Moving reports to the data visualisation tool of choice
- Implementing and educating the wider business on BI
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have...
- At least 2yrs experience in a BI-related role
- Excel skills
- Data visualisation skills (Looker, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
- Python/R experience
- API exposure

· Helping to architect systems to ensure they are re-usable and extensible

This leading telecom company is looking for a passionate Senior Software engineer to join their team. They have expanded to help them with their exciting greenfield projects and now need some more support. They are focused on digital transformation and building out progressive data products.
The Role
As a senior developer in this role, you will sit within the data science sector. If you have an interest in this industry, then this role is for you! The role will be based on their work and trying to ensure they can complete their work.
Your other responsibilities will be:
- Building models for data scientists use
- Using GCP to produce pipelines
- Developing API’s and forming integration test
- Rearchitecting systems to help maintain systems and make them re-usable
- Leading a team to complete targets,
- Conducting performance reviews
- Helping build individual performance plans.
Skill/Experience
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, Docker, Kubernetes and SQL. If you have experience working with systems designs and writing APIS then this is the ideal roll for you. Its also a bonus to have knowledge in cloud computing best practices.
