An opportunity for a Senior/Lead Data Engineer has opened up at a major bank, who is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to oversee and implement their AWS migration.
The Company
The company is a major commercial and retail bank. Currently, their data is being held on-premises, and as of last year, they have began a transformation journey in AWS.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and senior AWS data engineer to take the next step in their career in a very hands-on role.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing platform, monitor critical aspects, and ensure data is implemented into the system
- AWS cloud engineering and architecture; reviewing architecture, discovering issues and recovering
- Implementing GitLabs
- Working with stakeholders and senior managers of the business area and tech world
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience working with AWS (essential)
- Experience with DevOps tools and technologies
- ETL pipelining and Python experience
- Stakeholder management experience
