Roles and Responsibilities
- Statistical analysis of trends, both analysing supply data to spot opportunities and also analysing product usage and data within the product
- Leading a team of 2 initially, however, this should grow over time.
- Working with the wider business units to distinguish between their wants and needs
- Knowing what data pipelining is, understanding what might be needed on the front end
- Create proof of concepts and demonstrate value-added

THE ROLE
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you can expect to build upon your existing experience, solving complex business problems to help the bank develop appropriate credit risk management strategies, driving forward practical value-based solutions
In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Providing Senior Managers across the bank with insight and sophisticated analysis of business performance and future potential
- Making credit risk changes to decision systems
- Taking accountability for an area of credit policy, monitoring performance, clearly communicating issues, developing and recommending changes where appropriate
- Challenging proposals and decisions that conflict with sound, value-based credit portfolio management
- Ensuring that strong links are maintained between Risk and other key business areas
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Credit Risk Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in credit risk function or similar analysing data using statistical packages (ideally experience in SAS)
- Experience with excel
- Strong communication, relationship and influencing skills with the ability to explain the results of complex analysis to a non-technical audience
- Mathematical background
- Resilient to setbacks, with the tenacity, drive and keen eye for detail required to solve complex challenging problem
